Basic Interpretation
Creativity:…. the coming together of two polarities working to create something new: nature, fertility. This card can sometimes indicate a literal pregnancy, divine femininity.
The Empress makes her appearance when we are in the midst of a creative relationship of any sort. She calls us to participate in the dance of creativity and to enjoy it. She can also indicate a need to return to the earth from our glass and metal towers that are the providence of the Emperor.
How to read this card reversed:
Reversed, the card shows when are we in conflict, rather than in cooperation. Are we unwilling to be optimistic and believe we can find the creative solution? A lack of creativity…..or…….A creative process still in development can be present.
